The Term-MP form was developed to allow employers to notify OPERS that a non-contributing re-employed retiree has terminated service, or to provide a future termination date for a re-employed retiree.

Once you have logged into ECS, you can access the Term-MP form by selecting the Online Forms button, then the Term-MP link.

The Term-MP: Employee Search screen will appear where you can input an SSN, then select Start Term-MP.

If the SSN entered does not belong to an individual that you previously notified OPERS is a Re-employed Retiree providing services to you, the following message will appear.

If the SSN entered does belong to an individual you previously notified OPERS is a Re-employed Retiree providing services to you, the next screen will prompt you to enter the required information. Once done, select Continue for Verification.

If the name information you entered is not an exact match to what we currently have recorded for the SSN, the following message will appear. Fields can be updated with corrected information, or if the information you submitted is correct, select Continue for Verification.

A summary of the information you entered will appear. If you need to make updates, select Back, otherwise, select Submit to OPERS.

You can print the information submitted for your files by selecting Print or select Done. The print option is available for employers who wish to keep copies for their own records, the printed file should not be sent to OPERS as the information has been submitted electronically.
