ARP- Alternate Retirement Plan (ARP). ARPs are available to some employees of colleges and universities who choose to participate in a retirement plan other than OPERS. For more information on ARPs, see the College/University section of www.opers.org, or contact the OPERS Employer Call Center at 1-888-400-0965. Data Entry- The manual entry option for creating reports in the Employer Contribution System. Any time you create a report using the system, you are using the Data Entry function. File Transfer-Refers to the options for transferring reports with Employer Contribution System that were previously created by an internal or external software program. Frequency Code- A code indicating how often a given employee is paid. These codes include:
Pay Period Begin (PPB) Code- A pay period begin code is used to report when an employee is beginning/returning, or changing pay frequencies on your Report of Retirement Contributions. These codes include:
Pay Period End (PPE)Code- A pay period end code is a code used to report the reason why an employee will no longer appear on your Report of Retirement Contributions. These codes include:
Regular Report- A report submitted on a regular basis to OPERS of all your employees and their earnable salaries and contributions. Reporting Frequency-The schedule of how often your Regular payroll report is submitted. Supplemental Report- A report submitted to report a retroactive pay increase, settlement agreement, disability pay, or payment to terminated or deceased employee. |
